Holding The Girls: Swimsuit Edition

 For those of you who have a big chest, usually meaning a large C and up, you know its pretty difficult to find a swimsuit for the summer that is not only cute but holds the girls properly. I personally have struggled with this problem for years and only recently found a solution to this irritating problem. Try look for these three things next time you are shopping


1: Look for underwire tops. Yes, just like a bra, a swimsuit can have an underwire. Victoria Secret has some cute swimsuits that have underwire in them. If you are shopping online be sure to look for suits that say "fully lined" or "lined underwire cups".

2:  Look for bikini tops that are sold separate from the bottoms, and by size. It is better if you find a bikini top that is sold in you cup size just like a bra, if you cant find it, stick with a large or XL. For example, I am a DD so I get XL bikini tops. The best place to look for bikini tops is Aerin Rose! This line is specifically designed for big bust ladies who are in need of a specific type of top.

3: Be sure to look for halter bikini tops. Thing that you have to tie behind your neck always hold the girls in better. You are in control of them with halter tops. However, be cautions of size and quality, halters tend to put alot of strain on the shoulders and neck from the weight. Try Everything But Water, the line is a bit on the pricey side but you are sure to find great quality swim wear with great support!

Birthday Suit!

ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!! Well almost! My birthday is June 17th, this Friday and I am super duper excited!  I am going out to dinner with friends and since I love to dress up I decided this was the perfect time to splurge and get a new dress! I originally wanted to wear yellow because I love yellow and its a perfect summer color, and I look good in it! Then, I went out with friends and saw a girl in a gorgeous white dress and I fell in love with the idea of wearing white for my bday! Here are some of my picks so far! 

 This is a Stretch Floral Lace Long Sleeve Dress in Creme from
American Apparel. I love the lace! I would most likely wear a creme mini tube-dress or bodysuit underneath to cover up my goodies! 

This Tank Back L/S Dress in White from Akira caught my eye with the
Tank Back. The pointed shoulders are awesome too! I would definitely pair this dress the a pair of feather earring I have like the girl in the picture. Thats one reason I really want to wear white, the earrings are white and coral.

This is the Mesh Strap and Bust Sexy Dress in White, also from Akira.
I love the mesh and the design in the front. I have curves and Im sure this
dress with hug them nicely.

This Tablecloth Dress from Akira is pretty simple but I love it!
I was actually thinking about this style when I wanted to wear yellow. It just screams
"elegant" to me!

I know I said I wanted to wear white, but its hard to stay away from color during the summer! These are just a few dresses I was looking at with awesome color!

This Nylon High-Waisted Skirt from
American Apparel is really cute! The pattern
reminds me of confetti! Perfect for celebration!  

This Motel Beth Dress from Akira is the perfect yellow color I
was originally looking for. I love the shoulder design. There are other
colors of this dress that are just as gorgeous, but this is perfect for what
I was lookign

Simple Bandage dress from Akira. I love the red. I would pair this with
a pair of cheetah print pumps or royal blue, I have been really into
royal blue shoes lately.

This Pleat Chiffon Tube Dress from Akira is pretty but I am not sure wether I really
like it or not. I like the flow of the dress and I love strapless
dresses, but is this a good color for me...Hmm....

These are just a few of my ideas. A few is a bit of an understatement I see :). Maybe you can help me! Which one(s) do you like?

L'Oreal Lipstick Review

Hey dolls! As you know, I purchased two L'Oreal lipsticks this week. One was the L'Oreal Color Riche Anti-Aging Serum in Pink Passion and the other, L'Oreal Le Rouge Infallible 10 Hour Lipstick in Enduring Berry. This is my review! Enjoy!

Lips without lipstick (eww my face looks gross)

Infallible in Enduring Berry.  The lipstick went on very smooth. No tug on my lips, very gentle and soft. There is a slight shimmer to it and lots of glitter lingers when you wipe it off. In terms of lasting 10 hours, I have yet to test that, but I can say that it wants to stay on your lips! A little difficult to wipe off. Not sure if this is my color. 

Color Riche in Pink Passion. Color riche is right, this lipstick is very pigmented. You should only need one coat for full, perfect coverage. Slight tug on my lips while applying, to avoid try applying a very small amount of lip balm before applying this lipstick. It has a bit of a metallic look to it. To get rid of that pat the color with your finger, this also helps rub the color over your lips a bit better. I love the color once it is situated right. It reminds me of Pink 4 Friday by MAC. It has a bit of a natural pink look to it as well.  

Enduring Berry. Good color for a nice date. Something cute and classy

Pink Passion. Very playful color, sexy!
