LUSH and U.O. Haul

I went to LUSH the other day just to walk around and sniff, then found myself in U.O. helping a co-worker pick an outfit! It is always a super challenge for me because I always want to buy everything my eyes land upon! This time I narrowed it down to 3 things. U.O. was a bit easier considering I wasnt clothes shopping for myself and I'm not a fan of their prices lol.

First stop was LUSH!
I bought a Massage Bar, Shower Jelly, and Lip Scrub

Each Peach massage bar. It smells amazing! Very citrusy! You rub it all over and it melts from the heat of your body. These massage bars last a very long time especially if you use them very sparingly. Great on your own and also to share with a partner ;) 

The Bubblegum Lip Scrub is really cool, and edible! It is a great exfoliator for your lips! Tastier than exfoliating with a toothbrush or towel! You take a little bit of product between your fingers and rub its on your lips then lick it off! It is edible because its sugar! YUM!! My lips will forever be soft from using this product just because of the great taste! :)

The Joy of Jelly shower jelly. Smells amazing thanks to all the jasmine infused in it! It was recommended that I freeze this jelly. Once frozen, take a shower, its like a bar of soap! Cool right! THIS IS WHY I LOVE LUSH!!

From U.O. I picked up some new fingernail polish and a new card holder! 

I think these officially are cigarette holders but I have always loved to use them as a type of wallet! Its super cute because it Hello Kitty! 

The polish has no brand name so I cant reference it but the colors are super pretty. The one on the right looks red but its a pretty hot pink called Cocktail. The one on the left is my favorite! Reminds me of Tiffany's Co. The color is called Smush! I have been on the hunt for this color so I am super excited to wear it!

THE EMMY'S: The Good, The Bad and the Should've Stayed Home!

If you are anything like me, you only turned on the Emmy's to see the red carpet version fashion show with all my favorite celebrities. I always get super excited to see the amazing colors, styles and designs of the river of dresses flooding the red carpet. Some celebrities hit the mark with gorgeous gowns, shiny baubles and perfectly coifed hair, and others looked like there were drunk when getting dressed! Here are some of my favorite dresses of the night and those that should have stayed home!

BEST DRESSED 

Nina Dobrev wearing Donna Karen

Red dresses seem to have been the trend of the night, but no one pulled off the look better than Miss Nina Dobrev. This mermaid style dress give her the perfect hour glass shape. Her simple accessories are a great chic addition to the look. She looks drop dead gorgeous!

Kaley Cuoco wearing Romona Keveza

Kaley definitely got the memo about red trend, and she put her own fabulous spin on it. She played it safe and simple with this across the shoulder black dress with a red clutch and shoes to match! I dont know about you but I am a major fan of matching shoes to purse! LOVE! 

Claire Danes wearing Oscar de la Renta

The dress makes me think of a Picaso painting. This simple strapless dress with simply paired accessories  makes Claire Danes look absolutely amazing! The dress hugs her slightly in all the right places giving off a slight hour glass look!

WORST DRESSED

Taraji P. Henson wearing Blumarine

I love Taraji, but not in this dress! Where do I even start with this dress? Its looks thrown on her, there is no fit anywhere! What makes it worse is the horrid neckline and the so patchy floral and sequin designs. YUCK!

I had no idea who this was but I will always rememeber her as the Lady Lookin' Crazy at the Emmy's. Whoever she is looks like her AND her stylist were drunk when preparing for this night! The dress looks extremely cheap, something that could be found in Forever 21, or worse! What happened to her face?! It looks like she did her makeup in the dark! Her lips make her look like a corpse! The dress really isn't that bad but her hair ruins any hope for her look!

Why?!!!!.........just.....why?!! I have no idea what or who she was wearing, honestly I was so taken aback by what I saw on her head, it literally didn't register in my brain for 5 minutes! Yes ladies and gentlemen this is a hair tattoo! She just looks ridiculous! The hair tattoo, the umbrella, the sunglasses, the lipstick! Dointomuch.com!!! I dont understand how these hair tattoos work! How often do you have to shave? What happens if you want to grow out your hair? The real question is, Why Lou Eyrich? Why?

Over Due Mini Haul

Hey lovies! Taking the time to make a quick post. I have done some shopping here and there this week. I knew I needed to make a post, so what better time than the present! Not a huge haul, but I figured I owe you something :) So...here it is!

First up is this white metal organizer. I bought it for $5 at Forever 21. I love the designs on it. If you remember, I was using a silver toothbrush holder as a makeup holder but it was so boring and this one was so cute lol

I went to Target after Forever 21 to re-up on my concealer. I have fallen in love with the E.L.F. Tone Correcting Concealer (bottom product). I grabbed another tube of the Wet Gloss Lash&Brow Clear Mascara(middle product). Lastly I wanted to try one of E.L.F.'s new products so I grabbed the Under Eye Concealer&Highlighter (top product) Haven't tried it yet but a review is coming soon! :) Each product $1

For those of you who remember, I used to have a pair of sunglasses from Buffalo Exchange that were black with a gold chain like thing at the top. Well those broke. So I bought these cheetah print ones from Forever 21, thought they were cute. $5

Last but not least, this gorgeous glass bowl I got from the Thrift store. I have been looking for a cute jewelry box/bowl to hold my rings and I came across this one! I love the sparkly, gold, designs on the inside and the glossy glass feel. $2

Holding The Girls: Swimsuit Edition

 For those of you who have a big chest, usually meaning a large C and up, you know its pretty difficult to find a swimsuit for the summer that is not only cute but holds the girls properly. I personally have struggled with this problem for years and only recently found a solution to this irritating problem. Try look for these three things next time you are shopping


1: Look for underwire tops. Yes, just like a bra, a swimsuit can have an underwire. Victoria Secret has some cute swimsuits that have underwire in them. If you are shopping online be sure to look for suits that say "fully lined" or "lined underwire cups".

2:  Look for bikini tops that are sold separate from the bottoms, and by size. It is better if you find a bikini top that is sold in you cup size just like a bra, if you cant find it, stick with a large or XL. For example, I am a DD so I get XL bikini tops. The best place to look for bikini tops is Aerin Rose! This line is specifically designed for big bust ladies who are in need of a specific type of top.

3: Be sure to look for halter bikini tops. Thing that you have to tie behind your neck always hold the girls in better. You are in control of them with halter tops. However, be cautions of size and quality, halters tend to put alot of strain on the shoulders and neck from the weight. Try Everything But Water, the line is a bit on the pricey side but you are sure to find great quality swim wear with great support!

Birthday Suit!

ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!! Well almost! My birthday is June 17th, this Friday and I am super duper excited!  I am going out to dinner with friends and since I love to dress up I decided this was the perfect time to splurge and get a new dress! I originally wanted to wear yellow because I love yellow and its a perfect summer color, and I look good in it! Then, I went out with friends and saw a girl in a gorgeous white dress and I fell in love with the idea of wearing white for my bday! Here are some of my picks so far! 

 This is a Stretch Floral Lace Long Sleeve Dress in Creme from
American Apparel. I love the lace! I would most likely wear a creme mini tube-dress or bodysuit underneath to cover up my goodies! 

This Tank Back L/S Dress in White from Akira caught my eye with the
Tank Back. The pointed shoulders are awesome too! I would definitely pair this dress the a pair of feather earring I have like the girl in the picture. Thats one reason I really want to wear white, the earrings are white and coral.

This is the Mesh Strap and Bust Sexy Dress in White, also from Akira.
I love the mesh and the design in the front. I have curves and Im sure this
dress with hug them nicely.

This Tablecloth Dress from Akira is pretty simple but I love it!
I was actually thinking about this style when I wanted to wear yellow. It just screams
"elegant" to me!

I know I said I wanted to wear white, but its hard to stay away from color during the summer! These are just a few dresses I was looking at with awesome color!

This Nylon High-Waisted Skirt from
American Apparel is really cute! The pattern
reminds me of confetti! Perfect for celebration!  

This Motel Beth Dress from Akira is the perfect yellow color I
was originally looking for. I love the shoulder design. There are other
colors of this dress that are just as gorgeous, but this is perfect for what
I was lookign

Simple Bandage dress from Akira. I love the red. I would pair this with
a pair of cheetah print pumps or royal blue, I have been really into
royal blue shoes lately.

This Pleat Chiffon Tube Dress from Akira is pretty but I am not sure wether I really
like it or not. I like the flow of the dress and I love strapless
dresses, but is this a good color for me...Hmm....

These are just a few of my ideas. A few is a bit of an understatement I see :). Maybe you can help me! Which one(s) do you like?

L'Oreal Lipstick Review

Hey dolls! As you know, I purchased two L'Oreal lipsticks this week. One was the L'Oreal Color Riche Anti-Aging Serum in Pink Passion and the other, L'Oreal Le Rouge Infallible 10 Hour Lipstick in Enduring Berry. This is my review! Enjoy!

Lips without lipstick (eww my face looks gross)

Infallible in Enduring Berry.  The lipstick went on very smooth. No tug on my lips, very gentle and soft. There is a slight shimmer to it and lots of glitter lingers when you wipe it off. In terms of lasting 10 hours, I have yet to test that, but I can say that it wants to stay on your lips! A little difficult to wipe off. Not sure if this is my color. 

Color Riche in Pink Passion. Color riche is right, this lipstick is very pigmented. You should only need one coat for full, perfect coverage. Slight tug on my lips while applying, to avoid try applying a very small amount of lip balm before applying this lipstick. It has a bit of a metallic look to it. To get rid of that pat the color with your finger, this also helps rub the color over your lips a bit better. I love the color once it is situated right. It reminds me of Pink 4 Friday by MAC. It has a bit of a natural pink look to it as well.  

Enduring Berry. Good color for a nice date. Something cute and classy

Pink Passion. Very playful color, sexy!
